# Change account email (/docs/support/account-and-setup/change-account-email)

1. Go to Settings → Account.
2. Click the pencil icon.
3. Enter the code that we sent to your **current** email address.
4. Enter the new email address you'd like to use.
5. Enter the code sent to your **new** email address.

**Note:** If you have previously tried to log in with the new email then an account may already exist for it. You will need to [delete the account](/docs/support/account-and-setup/delete-your-account) associated with the new email prior to updating your current account.
