## How it works

1. Open Automations in Circleback and select New automation.
2. Run it after every meeting, or only for meetings that match tags, meeting name, participants or invitee email domains.
3. Choose Linear, connect your account and pick a team.
4. Choose which action items become issues: those owned by team members, the rest, or both.
5. Save. Issues appear in Linear after each matching meeting.

## What you can do with Linear

- Create an issue for each action item, with a link back to the meeting.
- Ask Circleback to search issues and create or update issues, projects and comments.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who is the issue assigned to?

When the action item's owner has the same email as a member of the Linear team, Circleback assigns the issue to them. Other action items become unassigned issues unless you turn that off.

### What's in each issue?

The action item's title and description, plus a link back to the meeting in Circleback.

### Can I choose which meetings it runs on?

Yes. Conditions limit an automation to meetings with certain tags, meeting names, participants, invitee emails, invitee email domains or number of invitees. Without conditions, it runs after every meeting.

### Is the Linear integration free?

Yes. Linear automations are included on every plan, including Free.
