1. Open Automations in Circleback and select New automation.
2. Run it after every meeting, or only for meetings that match tags, meeting name, participants or invitee email domains.
3. Choose Salesforce and connect your account.
4. Choose whether to log meetings on contacts or on opportunities.
5. Choose what to include, then save.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does Circleback find the right opportunity?

It finds the Salesforce contact for each calendar invitee email, then logs the Event on the opportunities where that contact has a contact role.

### Does Circleback update Salesforce fields?

No. It logs an Event on the contact or opportunity and leaves record fields unchanged.

### What's in the Event?

The meeting name as the subject, the start and end time, and the outcomes you chose, such as notes, action items and AI insights, in the description.

### Are meetings without calendar invitees logged?

No. Circleback matches records by invitee email, so meetings without calendar invitees are skipped.

### Is Salesforce on the Free plan?

No. Salesforce automations need Pro or above.
