Webhooks

Circleback webhooks send a POST request with your meeting data as JSON to the HTTPS endpoint you choose after each matching meeting.

Plan: Pro, Business and Enterprise

How it works

  1. 1Open Automations in Circleback and select New automation.
  2. 2Run it after every meeting, or only for meetings that match tags, meeting name, participants or invitee email domains.
  3. 3Select Send webhook request and enter your endpoint URL.
  4. 4Choose the outcomes to include and send a test request.
  5. 5Save. Each matching meeting is sent to your endpoint.

Frequently asked questions

A JSON body with the meeting ID, name, date, duration, meeting URL, tags, attendees, and the notes, action items, transcript and insights you chose. When recordings are saved, it also has a recording URL that stays valid for 24 hours.

Yes. Select all meetings and run the automation from the Actions menu.

Each request has an X-Signature header with the HMAC-SHA256 hex digest of the raw JSON body, keyed with the signing secret from the automation step. Compute the same digest on your server and compare the two.

Yes. If your endpoint returns a non-2xx response, errors or doesn't respond within 5 minutes, Circleback retries the request automatically, up to 9 more times. The same meeting can arrive more than once, so use the meeting id to skip duplicates.

No. Webhook automations need Pro or above.
