Setup
Get started by installing the Circleback CLI:
npm install -g @circleback/cliThen log in to your Circleback account:
cb auth loginThis opens a browser window to log in. Once logged in, you are ready to go.
To log in with an API key instead:
cb auth login --api-keyAPI-key login links to Settings → API keys, verifies the key, and stores it locally on your device.
For stateless automation, set CIRCLEBACK_API_KEY instead of logging in:
CIRCLEBACK_API_KEY=cb_your_api_key cb meetings --jsonCIRCLEBACK_API_KEY takes precedence over stored credentials.
To sign out on this device:

Creating, updating, and deleting needs write access. Browser logins from before v0.5.0 only granted read access, so run cb auth login again. Read-only API keys can't make changes, so use a read and write key from Settings → API keys.
Options
All commands support --json for raw JSON output, which is useful for scripting, piping into other tools, or feeding data to AI agents.
