Choose audio and video recording preferences
Choose your microphone, computer audio, and video for desktop recordings
The buttons next to Record control what Circleback captures. You can change them before or during a recording.
Audio
Select the microphone button (the sound bars) to choose:
- Microphone: the microphone to record.
- Record computer audio: also records sound playing on your computer, like the other people on a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams call. Keep this on for online meetings.
- No computer audio: records only your microphone.
Video
Select the screen button to choose a window or screen to record. Choose None to record audio only.
- New meeting starts with None, so choose a window or screen if you want video.
- When Circleback detects a meeting, it selects the meeting window by default. To start detected meetings with None instead, turn off Record meeting video in Settings → Notifications.
Don't see the screen button?
- Turn on Save meeting audio and video recordings in Settings → Preferences. Your workspace admin may control this setting.
- Allow Circleback to record your screen. See Troubleshoot recording on desktop.
